Since 2002, after twenty years in New York, Denise returned to her roots in Northern California, where she was born . In NewYork, she lived and worked in the Hudson Valley, taught art classes at Marist college for six years, and for eighteen years, was Director of the Ave Art Center and Gallery.
She received her B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of California, Davis: her M.A. from Purdue University, and her M.F.A. from the University of Illinois.
Her
work has been exhibited in Galleries throughout the nation and is in private
collections both in the U.S. and Europe.
